THIS. Allemans's were 20, 30, and 25. For Bama, Foster missed from 44, 50, Then Shelley had a 49 yarder blocked but the trajectory from that far factors in too. After that he hit a 34 Foster came back later to kick a 46 yarder which is dam good and longer than any we hit. Why in the hell Saban sent him back in is beyond me when Shelley had made his. It's like Saban was pressing, telling him "You're play for me, you're going to get this shyt right!!"
If anything happened no coach would go there and bowls don't mean all that. They're rewards at the end of the season more than benchmarks. I can't imagine him wanting to go anywhere else since they've been in the mix at Bama. Where would he have a better chance for titles?
Well, we've all know Saban is good for some blunder losses like he did here (recall UAB). While he can recruit and coach defensive backs, his gametime management skills leave something to be desired.
I'm wondering if Saban is thinking about Ole Miss. His kind of "challenge". But I don't think he wants to be a black bear.
Don't forget Eddy Robinson - I often wonder what he could have accomplished if he had the institutional resources some of these other coaches enjoy. You might also add Bob Devaney - he paved a pretty good road for Osborne to travel. ldskule:
Especially now that Ole Miss has given Nutt the boot. Man, I am sure glad LSU didn’t take Nick’s advice and hire Nutt as his replacement. What a disaster that would have been. ldskule:
