Where was LaRon Landry when Drew let the ball go? Bad defense. Drew did go on to play Pro ball, in the CFL....
Those hillbillies aren't completely dumb. They might have a few complete morons calling for his head after a tough loss AT HOME!, but just like we have some moron fans calling for Les last year, & somewhat this year! However, it will be very interesting to see what happens if we beat them in BR, that would be 3 in a row! and with Z Mett, we'll finally have a true passer, so we'll have a legit double threat offense!
Me too. It's funny when you're on the outside looking in. If bama woulda won, Saban would still be a football God. But he lost to the #1 team in OT by a fg, so he must go.
Forget the Gump fans, I've heard enough LSU fans say Bama was the better team and Saban the better coach (CLM got lucky) the last two days to make me puke.
This is hilarious. Last week he was the greatest coach ever as they prayed at the feet of his bronze statue. Today he is a moron that can't coach pop warner. Gump fans are the most delusional in the world. I also like the complaints about them getting robbed by the officials. Karma, the refs spent an entire season making sure they made it to their NCG a couple years ago. Like has been stated already in this thread, Saban is a great coach, but his game day coaching isn't. To the fool that called him the second best coach ever, please put down the crack pipe and back away.
Everyone keeps talking about how bad the kicker was, but your talking 48 to 54 yard field goals. Even really good college FG kickers are going to miss as many as they make from that distance. They didn't lose because he couldn't kick, they lost because LSU kept them out of good field goal range.
Imagine what happens in the unlikely case they lose to Auburn this year or lose their bowl. I would not be surprised if Saban goes somewhere else after 5 years. What he does best is rebuild and there are plenty of opportunities somewhere else for him to rebuild.
