It is very true about his gameday management. Saban grades out at about a C to me. He's not horrible but he certainly isn't anywhere near great.

Remember the Iowa bowl game? How do you play that kind of coverage on a hail mary pass?

He doesn't have a killer instinct in close games. He'll let you hang around. Plays not to lose more often than not. DOTB started a thread on this very subject.

    Absurd.
they are as idiotic as us. they like us fail to realize the other teams are pretty good to and there are times where you will win some and lose some.

But getting Rid of Saban is absurd. He is one of the best coaches in football and he took a struggling powerhouse and turned them into a powerhouse again.
Same thing he did with us.

I love me some Les Miles he fits us perfect. But Saban is a great coach and if they are not careful they will run him out themselves.
Saban has 0 loyalty to Bama. To him its a job, one he is very good at.
Be careful Penn State doesnt lure him away.

RE that Alabama quote above, he has some plays mixed up, but still, to want to ditch Saban, who pulled that program out of a ditch, is flat-out stupid.

As for not winning anything for a long-time, that is also ridiculous. Teams in the SEC (and CFB) need to re-load. You can't win the damn :crystal: every freaking year. If we win the :crystal: this year, you will notice that we are winning it every 4 years. 2003, 2007, 2011. Plenty of opportunity for schools like FU and Bama to squeeze their own in. Auburn is the freaking interloper here.

Nick is about as good as a human can be at coaching

it's only the monday folk that have 24 hours to think it over that do better

I would vote Nick the best college coach only 2nd to the Bear of all time

Les is getting to a place that he could make a massive move over the next 3 to 4 years

    but as of today

Nick is the man of active coaches

WOW, Agreed, I'm loving how we are seeing signs of Bama's implosion! Imagine if we Roll the Tide again this year for the BCS then again at home next year.....I know I'm getting ahead of myself but a girl can dream right?

You can't be serious about this. There are a lot of dead, legendary coaches who are turning over in their graves about that remark.
