dude, it's a bayou, not a ditch.
Beings Kyle said something about a top 10 guitarist I guess I will take a shot at it.
Everyone else in no particular order: SRV, Warren Haynes, Clapton, Ricky Skaggs, Bonamassa, Harrison, Gilmour, Gibbons, Walsh
So subjective with styles, tones they are able to get from their equipment and type of music they play. I could give you a completely different list tomorrow other than Jimi would still be on top.
Albert King was another lefty but instead of test ringing his guitar he just turned it upside down and turned it 2 steps down. Maybe there should be 2 lists. One for blues guitarist and one for rock. Problem with that is that so much rock draws heavily from the blues.
that’s why i very rarely rank them past 2.
depending on where i’m at in life the list changes.
I'd have to go with Chet Atkins. ... though Andres Segovia is listed as the greatest guitarists of all time.
Though come to think of it, ... you take hendrix .. I'll take Ana.
If you're going to include country the Roy Clark was right up there.
Roy could play anything good.
