Its not though. Laws are clear and readily available online. Do you find it odd you cannot find or cite the law broken?

Obstruction of what? Trump fired Comey based on recommendations and never once stopped the investigation. How do you make that case?

Here is what is in question.

The two campaign finance law violations included:

    • Cohen’s negotiation of an agreement with American Media Inc., which publishes the National Enquirer, to pay Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal $150,000 to keep quiet about an alleged 10-month relationship with Trump. According to the plea, McDougal transferred the rights to her story to the Enquirer, which did not publish the story, and Cohen paid American Media to compensate the company for payments made to McDougal.
    • Cohen’s $130,000 payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, also over an alleged affair with Trump, that was made with funds drawn on a home equity line of credit Cohen took out. The plea said Cohen paid Daniels “by making and causing to be made an expenditure, in cooperation, consultation, and concert with, and at the request and suggestion of one or more members of the campaign … to ensure that she not publicize damaging allegation before the 2016 presidential election and thereby influence that election." Cohen said during the plea that he “participated in this conduct for the principal purpose” of influencing an election and did it at the “direction of a candidate for federal office.”
The second bullet point is what you guys are hung up on. Donald used private money. No where in the laws does it say that is illegal. NO WHERE.

a lot of people want Trump gone,.. like I said before he's Al Capone to me, I feel no urge to be fair to him. He treats all like shit, he deserves no better,.. I'm wrong I know, but that's the way I feel, I'm willing to pay the fine.

Good point about how his base feels, but they need to wake up, how can they not recognize a 300 lb rat.

It's not about fair. It's about the law. Even sitting Presidents have the right to all due processes. He isn't being given one here.

That's not the point. And frankly, I suspect it's having an impact on more than the base and the opposite effect of what the dems are hoping to have with suburban mom who is butt hurt over the cheating.

You have it backwards. During the debates, Trump admitted to the use of shady tactics to get things done. CNN and HRC were speechless.

    He literally told you guys.

Trump is doing in the open what everyone has been doing behind the scenes. That is why he is being attacked by all sides.

"The government’s star witness in the case against ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort “deserves a special place in Hell,” one of the jurors told Fox News in an exclusive interview,.....

Duncan, who described herself as an avid supporter of President Trump, said she ultimately considered Manafort guilty of the charges against him despite her misgivings about the case itself.

Still, she panned the prosecution’s star witness, Rick Gates, the defendant's former business partner, as “nervous” and doing whatever he could to save himself.

“He deserves a special place in Hell,” she said. “He was just as guilty as Paul Manafort, maybe even more. I mean he embezzled from his employer.”...

In a separate interview with Shannon Bream on “Fox News @ Night,” Duncan said some jurors had issues with Gates’ testimony from the outset because he took a plea deal.

“So we agreed to throw out his testimony and look at the paperwork, which his name was all over,” she said, adding that they did not find him credible. “I think he would have done anything that he could to preserve himself. That's just obvious in the fact that he flipped on Manafort.” ....

During the trial, Judge T.S. Ellis III made headlines for his repeated rebukes of the prosecution, dating back to when he claimed earlier this year they really only cared about what information they could get from the defendant about Trump.

Asked if she agreed with that characterization, Duncan said it was “spot on.”

She echoed Trump in calling the special counsel probe a “witch hunt.” But she said Manafort was guilty all the same, of crimes pertaining to hiding income earned from his political consulting work overseas and other fraud counts.

“Certainly Mr. Manafort got caught breaking the law, but he wouldn’t have gotten caught if they weren’t after President Trump,” Duncan said.

    Lol. It's not about Trump....okay.

Cohen said he paid with his own money,.. if so was an illegal unreported campaign contribution, but now Trump changed his story again, now says the money came from him. Nowhere was the money transfer documented/reported as required by law.

I know the character of our President isn't important to you, 123,.. but multiple times Trump has stood in front of a TV camera and lied straight to the face of the American people about this,.. and that's not ok by me, he's a stinker and we all know it

If you had sound character and moral code, you freely admit this is a political trick to investigate Trump for the sake of investigating.

As I said before, they didn't even fucking interview HRC over her "illegal" server. They are raiding homes of anyone who was simply near Trump.

You want me to stand on character? How about you show some.

Please provide the FEC law that you are using as a metric. And what law is there mandating the reporting of a personal financial transaction?

It was not a campaign contribution and I've already demonstrated why it is not.

BTW, you understand that he's going to jail for multiple counts of tax evasion, right? Absolutely nothing to do with the hooker. Nothing was actually litigated in this case and it would have taken much longer to actually try and prove a payment was made and by whom. Cohen is a sleaze who made millions, didn't pay taxes, and they used that to further their investigation in to Trump.

That's pretty scary. That's not what we do in America, no matter how much you dislike a person.
