I think its possible to finish 10-2 but I doubt it. We shall see. What I'll find interesting is how many years will it take of losing to Florida and Bama before the hat falls. I'm not saying this is going to happen nor do I want it too. Its just a thought that came to mind but it could happen. I'm not convinced just yet that CLM's is up there with Nick Saban and Urban Cryier.
Seems like Saban lost to Florida in our 2003 Championship year. And as far as I know, Urban Meyer has NEVER beat Florida.
Who cares what guilbeau thinks? I don't trust him when he is bashing/stirring the pot, and I don't listen to him when he says anything nice. There is occasional honesty in his columns but you have to dig for it, so I don't bother. 10-2, huh? Winning out except for bama? Well I don't sweat bama in tuscaloosa, and I think there are a few teams(Auburn, Ol Ms, and Arkansas) that might not just roll over for us either. It could very well end up that way - or not. Either way, the constant here is that guilbeau is always a douchebag.
If LSU would only lose to these two teams on a yearly basis and finish 10-2, he would, and in fact should, remain LSU's coach ad infinitum. Florida and Alabama have the best 2 coaches (and most likely programs) in the entire NCAA and it isn't close. It's not embarrassing to lose to teams that are better.
Alabama hasn't won a single friggin' conference or national championship in a decade and they are one of the best programs in the NCAA? You've lost your mind. :insane:
