No, they have equal amounts. ;)

My point was some aren't noticed. Georgia and WVU are up there they just werent noticed until they were in the pro's. So when someone says LSU has thugs because of the media reports odds are they have just as many in there own backyard and should stop being hypocrites...even the georgia fans that think richt is christ jr.

I've never been an FSU fan, so I don't know a lot about them. But I'd imagine that Parker will be kicked off their team, right? If an LSU player got arrested with drug charges (especially with a gun involved), I wouldn't have a problem with him being kicked off the team. When is the last time an LSU football player was caught with drugs and/or guns?

Sure, RP's second suspension was because he was accused by a Varsity bouncer of pulling a gun on him, and the police took it seriously and took RP down to the station and made him stand in a police line up. But the Varsity bouncer wasn't able to pick out RP from the line-up. So his claim seems bogus.

I googled what 20 grams of pot would be worth, and I found someone who wrote that 10 grams of weed would be worth $90 to $100. Is that right? If so, it ain't like the kid got caught with just a couple joints (which I still wouldn't have a problem with an LSU player being kicked off the team for).

Do you know why FSU kicked Randy Moss of the team? Wasn't marijuana involved in that decision?

last season. every team has them and a coach doesnt know what type of player he is getting until they get here. miles has done a good job of getting rid of those guys.

I can't answer that one, that is up to the "great/old one" and maybe our boy Fisher may have some say in it since he is a receiver. But other then that couldn't tell you!

The way I remember it was that Randy Moss got expelled from his high school for getting in a fist fight at school. He wanted to go to ND, and although ND's football program accepted his letter of intent, ND's admission board denied Moss's application because he was expelled from his high school. So Moss went to FSU, and Bowden only took him on the condition that he had sit out his whole first year on a "suspension" that allowed him to practice with the team but not to play in any games. They say Moss was scoring at will on FSU's DBs during practice, but they still wouldn't let him play. Then, before that year was up, Moss got kicked off the team and went to Marshall where he started shattering records and became the mega-star WR everyone knew he would be. I just couldn't remember exactly why Moss got kicked off FSU's team, but I was pretty sure it had to do with marijuana use. But the point is, kicking Moss off FSU's team didn't seem to do anything to make FSU's reputation more positive.

I tend to agree with Parso. Coaching and recruiting philosophies have everything to do with this, I think. Sure, every team will have a few kids who can't transition. But some teams take recruiting risks and/or don't spend the time/effort to try to shape the actions and attitudes of the kids at risk of trouble.

I'd say Miami is a posterchild for a risky recruiting philosophy gone wrong. Randy Shannon seems to be turning that around. I hope he's successful.

Actually as much as I HATE (and more then half this board can vouch for this) Miami, I have to agree with this. I wasn't too sure about hiring from within at first but it looks like he is trying to drive the team in the right direction for improvement. Question is will the fans and administration give him the chance to clean it up and get it rolling again.

and will they make the facility improvments to allow him to complete for those recruits on an even keel with Fla. and Fla. St.

Their football facillities are horrible, from what I hear.

Well they are now playing at the Fins Stadium but I have no clue about thier practice field and such. But the campus is actually a pretty nice campus (at least looks that way while passing it, never stopped), but that means nothing.
