I feel you about the lazy thing, but that's a hell of a long blog page to read. I did try to read the three blog entries you recommended, but they got so long I just started browsing them. But yes, I believe you that they were pro-LSU and pro-Miles. That's how they came across to me. But that still doesn't explain GG coming back to stab us in the back with his recent garbage in the article that started this thread. In fact, interesting GG quotes I read while browsing the three blog entries you recommended included:

Dec 12th 2007 -- It's amazing how media members are so - to use a Saban phrase - "self absorbed."

Dec 3th 2007 -- Herbstreit is a great sports anchor. He knows the game. He's very knowledgeable. ... ESPN has many great reporters

Point is the guy seems like he knows he is a piece of garbage. So there is no need for me to kill him. But it would be nice to see him realize that it would be a good thing to try and make Louisiana proud one day.

Oh Gawd! Seriously?!? That would have been entertaining, from my standpoint, seeing as many threads on him as there are on Guilbeau.

You are more correct than you know. I've literally seen articles I've written myself end up being the talking points on shows in Alabama. But, like I said, I can't blame them. The message forums do give a good pulse on what fans are thinking/feeling.

There is probably some truth to what the guy is writing about Perrilloux but he is so darn negative that it loses credibility. I'm all for pointing out facts and challenging the popular opinion but for goodness sakes it can't be ALL one way all the time.

I'm sure many of us on this board have thought that RP has had one too many chances. I guess the question should be asked, "If we had another QB who was talented and the coaching staff knew for sure we could win with him right now, would RP still be on the team?" My guess is no.

I honestly believe that even if RP was our third-string QB with little chance of ever significantly benefiting LSU on the field, that he still wouldn't be kicked off the team. Kicking a kid off the team is pretty freaking Nazi. Back on the thread that was discussing RP's situation at Kona Grill, and the LSU Daily Reveille's call from him to be kicked off the team, the Daily Reveille listed a list of guys who were actually kicked of LSU's team. I asked the thread what they had done that was so bad to get kicked off the team, and only Red replied, claiming, if I remember right, that they were all charged with violent crimes. Even during that whole RP/Kona Grill fiasco, there was some LSU player from Monroe that got charged with assaulting a police officer. He wasn't kicked off the team.

As a side note, some poster above brought up Florida State's thug reputation. To me, "the thug schools" are Florida State and Miami. But when it comes to Florida State, I'm really not sure why I think they have a thug reputation. If you asked me to give specifics about why FSU is a thug program, I honestly wouldn't be able to give you any. In fact, I don't even know why FSU kicked Randy Moss off their team. But doing so didn't seem to help out their thug reputation.

Trust me I did, but it was too good that he said that right after I read the article!

A guy at work sent it to me with the title: You WILL never believe this!!!

Randy Moss failed a drug test, and actually almost every team has players failing these days they just suspend them...so that was a big move. But he was on a short leash after leaving ND anyways.

All big-time teams have thugs that are doing drugs and making awful decisions. Some get caught, some dont.

Absolutely, but some teams have more than others.
