I purposely didn't come on here last night because I was so pissed that we lost. We had the freakin' ball on the six yard line with a minute left in the game, and we ended up losing by a touchdown. How in the hell does that happen? Losing to Alabama after statistically and physically dominating them hurts really badly. This was 2012 all over again. There is plenty of blame to go around. As soon as Alabama scored a TD in overtime, I knew we'd lost. Actually, I knew we'd lost when Bama tied it up. Many people think Miles has a horseshoe up his ass, but it's actually Saban.
You were better off not coming last night. Like a night of hard drinking, maybe it feels good while you're doing it, but nothing good comes from it and you have a headache in the morning.
No, but I certainly wanted to. By that time, my bottle of wine had given me a headache and both of my daughters were fighting with each other for the 100th time on the weekend. I just took some Advil PM and made the girls go to bed. Then, I woke up at 6 and could NOT stop replaying the last few minutes of the game over and over again in my head.
Not any place did I say this was the fault of Jennings. That kid has heart and did the best he could do and I'm proud of him. What I did say was with a better QB (or coach) the outcome is different
I didn't get to sleep until after 3:00 am, I just couldn't settle down after this game. Once I fell asleep, I was tossing and turning all night, and basically waking up every hour. I was even dreaming about the game. Finally gave in and got up at 8:30. This one will hurt for a while. Sometimes I wish I wasn't so emotionally invested in this!
This is probably true. My husband chose to spend the weekend in Houston at the birthday party of the 75-year-old dad of one of his college friends. Then, had the audacity to call and complain about being around old people all weekend. Well, no shit, Sherlock. Then, he flies out to somewhere (California? Seattle?) for business all week on Monday.
Let me point something out about Harris, pre game warm ups they do drills where they all run past Cameron and he tries to strip the ball, all the qb's were working hard in these drills, except Harris, and Cameron made him repeat the drills by himself because he was dogging it. He would come off the field during the game and then take his helmet off and go sit on the bench and pout. Jennings isn't the answer at qb, but I'd bet everything that Harris isn't either.
