What mess? LSU is one of the elite football programs in the country. Les has taken us to two national championship games and three SEC championship games and he is entirely responsible for that, too. Fire Miles? Get real. Who is available with a better record and guaranteed to do better?
Nice pick-up by Coach Grimes... Tigers land 2016 O-lineman 37 minutes ago LSU picked up its fourth commitment for 2016 as the Tigers landed Ponchatoula (La.) offensive lineman Donavaughn Campbell according to sources. The big 6-foot-6, 340-pounder started on both sides of the ball for Ponchatoula and is projected to play guard for the Tigers.
There is still another big guy Grimes has on his list. If this one is picked up, his best friend is playing on the DL, and LSU could be in the mix for a very good DL. OT Toby Weathersby who de-committed from Texas in December. Weathersby has a visit to LSU on Jan. 23. A good visit and a verbal/signing, could also help LSU in landing his teammate, Ed Oliver, a 2016 defensive tackle that has LSU on the top of his list.
