Both coaches and fans are greedy and tend to sign as many recruits as they can including offering greyshirts. It seems that most of the time these greyshirts go to weaker recruits that are willing to wait. The question is should we offer greyshirts as often as we do? What is the success rate of these players on the field? How many star greyshirts can you name at LSU? Aren't you just saving a scholarship that may have gone to a better recruit in future years? Feedback?

Justin Vincent & Trindon Holliday were both grayshirts.

Justin Vincent must have been a unique situation. He was a 5 star player who didn't qualify right?
