1. So would you be happy with James Franklin ? He posted 2 9 win season at Vandy and was on track to be a real contender in the east if he woulda stayed .
  2. Can you show me the post where I said anything about Franklin?
  3. Miles is not a defensive coach. He is an offensive coach that isn't very good at offense. He appreciates good defense and wants to have a defensive minded team, but that isn't the same thing.

  4. Didn't Schiano flake out? I had the feeling he wasn't ready for the big stage.

EDIT: Doesn't sound too bad on Wikipedia. Didn't cut it in the NFL.
  5. I thought Miles was an Oline/offensive guy- on paper, anyway.
  6. And that is where it went off the rails

  7. Why is anybody even bringing up names like Schiano and Fedora? Are you ready to set the bar that low so soon? There are only 2 realistic acceptable names. Aleva should pick one and do whatever it takes to make it happen.

  8. I can only think of one, all the others mentioned are about equal.

  9. For some reason a lot of people don't want Jimbo but for me he is a close second to Herman
  10. I agree. If not those two, might as well make a wild gamble on a young, unproven coach that has big potential. None of the other usual suspects inspire me.
