    What a pompous jerk.

Has the audacity to suggest that golfers take a pay cut.

Says this in Australia which he traveled to in one of his Gulfstreams, towing his trophy wife, and being paid a six figure "appearance" fee to play in a golf tournament.

#%*! off Greg. Figure out how to win a major instead of choking 'em away.

hey, when he made a run at that major last year (or year before), I said I was cheering against him because he is a prick.

Good to see those colors are bleeding through.

Having a hard time here seeing Chris Evert as a trophy wife. They are the same age, both good looking (subjective, I know), and she's hardly wanting in the money category. I know the definition at one time included intelligent and accomplished women but today, it's really quite an insult.

As for the rest, well, Australia is a union country. Their mentality is very different than here in America. Can't disagree with your last sentiment however. :hihi:

I'm curious whether he would have been so generous with other peoples' money during HIS prime earning years on the Tour.

I'm also waiting to see to which charity he plans to donate the proceeds of the auction of his Royal Caribbean-sized yacht.

It's the wine, and the apparel line, and the affiliation with Cobra golf, and a plethora of other business ventures that turned him into a gazillionaire. I'm sure the fame he gained while playing golf helped him get started, and no doubt he made his share on the course as well. But its not like he made all of his money as a golfer, and now that he's got his pile, thinks no one else should have one.
