It should be a dandy between Dallas and Green Bay. Unfortunately Woodson is out for Green Bay. With Crayton coming back this week giving Dallas another valid option in the passing game, this could be a bad combination if you're a Packer fan. Johnny Jolly, starting DT for Green Bay is out as well. Look for 1 statline to determine the winner. Favre's interceptions. If it's zero, Green Bay definitely wins. If it's one, toss up. Two or more and Dallas wins. The scheduling of this game and home field advantage dictates a Cowboy win tonite. Dallas has had an entire week to prepare, versus Green Bay with only 4 days. And with Green Bay's injuries, it's gonna be tough for them to pull this one out. Favre will have to be on his best behavior tonite in order for Green Bay to come out victorious. Let's pray that he does.
you just say stuff with no regard for if it's true, apparently, b/c both teams have had a week to prepare. Remember Det vs. Green Bay? so end your conspiracy theory before it even begins.
packers have a decent drive and get 3, but something tells me getting 3 is a letdown tonight. I expect to see a ton of points. edit: anyone watching this realizes just how stupid it is for this game to be on NFL network. in roughly 4 mins of game action, B. Gumbel has made roughly 6-7 mistakes with names, etc... including saying "good field position for the Packers offense" following the green bay kickoff, so yeah... this is bad.
This guy is awful. His voice alone is enough to drive you nuts it sounds like Kermit the frog doing play by play.
he would have made the play sooner had he had a full week to prepare! just messing with you, man... yeah, I have long said that's an imperfect rule, but the whistle was blown... there's nothing you can do.
well you can fumble the ball after the whistle blows and challenge it and if its conclusive it was a fumble and the other team gets the ball, they will rule it a fumble with the other team taking possession where they recovered it (they can't get further progress down the field, however) this is essentially a fumble and should have been challenge-able
the referees didn't think so... i'd think they'd know more than us. Gumbel doesn't know which team is which and i'm serious... he just said "the packers are going for the tie" so yeah... he has no clue what is going on... it's truly sad when Collinsworth is the brains of an operation.
