If the game isn't for the NC or serving towards getting to the title game then I don't blame him at all. Risking your career for a meaningless bowl game is plain stupid. If I knew I was being drafted in the first couple rounds I'd sit too. Give it all during the season. As far as I'm concerned this is an exhibition game.
It’s kind of ironic people are upset at Greedy when he is protecting his future revenue by sitting out of a game that is strictly for revenue he won’t see any of.
I understand and agree with your statement for the most part, but the game is not strictly for revenue. There are still players and fans who love the spirit of the amateur game. I for one am a fan not for revenue (I never bet on an LSU game), but I love rooting for LSU and Louisiana for irrational or at least non revenue reasons.
