Jessica Mendoza: "Coach, your team has 2 interceptions going into halftime, in the previous 2 games you had none, what's been the difference?" Les Miles: "they're throwing it" Classic :miles:
i totally agree, i laughed so hard, which really isn't much of a shocker, but still, i think he was totally serious, because Jessica Mendoza thought he was going to elaborate, she just looked stunned that that was all he had to say about that.
Hahaha. I remember that. I was like "Uhhhhh, ok...." The look on Mendoza's face was funny. He/she was caught just as off-guard as we were. Took me a second, but it hit me. I think what he meant was that, in the previous two games, they didn't throw it. If they had, we would have picked them off. However, that's just not true. NC flung it all around the field in the 2nd half.
i thought he was just being arrogant. She should have talked to Tracy Wolfson before trying to interview Les at halftime.
Better yet, they ought to just let Tracy do the sideline reporting next time. I would much, much, much rather look at her than that bowling shoe we had Saturday night.
in today's pc, les said "this team has a great team-man-ship about it." it was a gem. he also said that JJ "has the want to compete." so now you have to drink.
