At this point, our beloved CLM has a ways to go just to catch Spurrier. Bring this back up in ten years and maybe we'll talk.

Well then by this logic Hal Hunter was the best coach ever. He had a perfect 1.000 win percentage at LSU.

Check Bill Battle and Phil Fulmer's records after three years. If Miles continues to recruit at the level he is bringing them in, he will probably stay up there. If however, Lee has chronic back trouble and Hatch were to get injured, those stats will drop quickly.

No question. If Coach Robinson had the school resources available to him that some of those other coaches had, I would venture to say his winning percentage might have been higher. He coached at a small underfunded school located in the middle of the pine hills in north Louisiana. When he started he lined the field before home games and his wife patched torn uniforms for the players and made and packed lunches for them to take on the bus for road games.
He did more with less than most folks will ever realize.

I'd bet a lot of the coaches he faced had the same issues facing them. Coach Robinson was the greatest coach in the division he coached in. He may have been a great coach at the Division 1 level but we'll never know.

I wouldn't put Les on any list of this sort for many more years.

A load of bullcrap!! Everyone knows you bucknuts are conceited to the point of delusional! Worse than Alabama (if such a thing is possible) With all due respect tO.S.U. did not deserve the #1 ranking in either 2006 or 2007!

    31 unanswered!

I missed the part where anyone was talking about... wait, what are you talking about? Had a few too many? Driving yourself crazy trying to figure out how to beat NAVY? Is Charlie Weiss living with you and eating you into a starvation craze? Simmer down and address the relevant issue, if you're capable.:wave::wave::wave::wave:
