    Pujols instead of McGwire?
Ted Williams 1941... .406. No one has done it since.

I would love to see that lineup with Mickey Mantle, Reggie Jackson and Sammy Sosa as pinch hitters faciing a rotation of Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens, Randy Johnson, and Tom Seaver as starters and Mariano Rivera, Whitey Ford and Greg Maddox in relief in a 7 game series

The greatest combination of power and batting average. He was the Pujols of that era.

Speaking of Pujols, replace McGwire with Pujols and you're good.

    6 outfielders?
    no catchers?
is A-Rod playing ss or 3rd? because you're missing what ever position he ain't playing too.

    no Joe DiMaggio?
