I have been looking at other forums to try and talk SEC football, and have found the one I was looking for. I tried talking to those at VOLNATION, but they weren't nice at all. I am Alabama fan so I wasn't expecting them to love me but how about a little RESPECT??? This appears to be the place!!!

High Hopes......YES!!! Great expectations? Not yet. I will feel better after the GA game, win or lose. It will be a better way to guage how we are as a team and how our consistency looks. This is the most hopeful I have been in years though. Good Luck to you LSU fans as well this year as for winning the west and may the best team win!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome. Indeed Bama looked real good against Clemson. Looks like you guys are coming around. Should be interesting when Saban returns to Baton Rouge. That is a victory I want very much. I have to say, though... it looks like Saban was a good hire for you guys.
Thanks for the welcome guys. Yes he does seem to fit well at Alabama. HOWEVER, keeping him there may be the fun part.
I dunno. I think Saban realizes that leaving LSU was a big mistake for him. Not just because it's LSU. Because it was a great college gig, he was successful here and really built a strong program, and I also think he realizes that college is the best fit for him. I don't know that there are many college jobs out there that are better than Alabama: 1) rich tradition, 2) strong, devout fanbase, 3) its the SEC, 4) Bama will pay top money for top results, and 5) everyone invloved at Bama wants to win, and expects to win.
