Great second half defense!

Tough Love! Hang in there man.

 

I saw a lot of good things from our D in the second half.

1.) The blitz! I love it. We were able to stop the run right from the very beginning, and got good initial pressure from our front 4, but in the second half we had them in 2nd/ 3rd long on almost every series. Then we sent the house.

2.) Much better tackling! This is an area that can make a good defense GREAT. In the second half, SC wasn't able to break many tackles and turn short gains into a big plays.

3.) Our boys did some hitting! We played tough, physical defense last night. Big time hits bring the fear!!!

Yea, well, they better bring the full package all game long next week or its gonna be another looooooooooooong saturday night.:tigereye:
