I made a 30 on the ACT. I think it was the best academic day of my life. I was in the "zone" that day.
Got a 27 on my first try, fried my brain, my grades in school (advanced math 2) went from A to D after taking ACT. Biggest burnout I've ever gone through.
I had a 3.92 GPA but only a 20 on ACT. I still think the ACT is a horrible test for judging a kid's intellectual ability to enter into college. And I came from a town of only 5,000 people (Kaplan, LA) and we did not even have Calculus as part of our curriculum. So kids at smaller schools I think were at a disadvantage over bigger schools.
