Watching this live, I was dumbfounded that sure-handed Robiskie let this get away. However, it was just a tremendous play by Chevis. Thought you guys would enjoy this pic:
Watched that play several times. He definitely caused him to drop the ball. Speaking of causing someone to drop the ball:
Highsmith appeared to be shot out of a cannon. Chevis Jackson had one whale of a game. Unbelievable. I also think it propelled him into the top 2 or 3 corners in the NFL draft, as long as his combines look solid.
That's amazing. He knew it was the big stage, and he was going all to let not let that ball be caught.
For obvious reasons, I have not really rewatched those highlights much. Watching it live I thought he bobbled it and CJ jostled his arm, looks like he poked his hand in there instead. Whatever the sequence of events, it was a heads up play. BTW, that was a great play by akili. I think he completes the ball to Hartline coming across the middle just past the sticks if he gets that ball off.
How good is that photographer? I've always been amazed by sports photography and how those guys catch that perfect shot...
Outstanding play both of them. Things really changed once the Tiger "D" started pinning their ears back. I've heard this before, and said it, but honestly OSU would be somewhere in the middle of the pack amongst the SEC schools. This game proved that in my opinion!:thumb:
Thanks for posting the pic. I kept yelling at the announcers that it was not a drop but a great defensive play. But, as usual, even with the ten replays, they failed to see or acknowledge it. More credit to CJ would have been nice. Great shot!:crystal: :crystal: :crystal:
What a great play by Chevis. Great pic of the what proved to be the catalyst for the sequence of events that changed this game. 3rd down: Chevis breaks up potential TD. 4th down: RJF blasts through, gets a paw up, and blocks go ahead field goal attempt. Next Tigers possession: TD Flynn to Lafell. Not that y'all needed that recap.
