This may belong in the recruiting forum, but I thought it might get more looks here to pick up the spirits of some disheartened Tiger fans. If any of you are out there wondering how our number one prospect is doing this year (like I was), here are his stats. The good news is he's on pace to pass his rushing stats from last year. The GREAT news is that he's already blown away his passing stats from last year...completing 60% vs. his below mediocre 45% for under 800 yds. (total) last year. Even better news is that our troubles this year have only reinforced his commitment. Geaux Tigers! Game 1: 13 for 23, 248 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT; 17 rush, 42 yards Game 2: 14 for 20, 177 yards, 2 TD; 20 rush, 206 yards, 2 TD Game 3: 8 for 20, 168 yards, 2 TD; 30 rush, 257 yards, 3 TD Game 4: 15 for 29, 194 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT; 22 rush, 50 yards, 1 TD Game 5: 4 for 10, 65 yards, 1 TD; 17 rush, 62 yards, 1 TD Game 6: 11 for 11, 175 yards, 2 TD; 13 rush, 121 yards, 2 TD Season: 65 for 113, 1017 yards, 58%, 10 TD, 3 INT; 119 rush, 738 yards, 9 TD Source: http://www.sectalk.com/boards/showthread.php?t=59348
J. Lee had good HS numbers too, I hope RS is a fast learner. *wink* I also still think J Lee will be much improved next year after all he's going through.
I am pumped about RS for next year. Look out. Who says you can't win with a freshman QB. I did. This year anyway. Next year RS will be something to watch.
LSU will be fine at the QB spot next year. RS coming in as an all-around player will see the field from game 1. He might be used as a Percy Harvin type player at first and get to see some QB as well. I agree, don't sleep on JJ.
