Sounds a little like Boo Hoos.:hihi:

Umps are human and imperfect which is part of the game. We could "what if" til the hoos geaux home but that would take away from a great, hard fought game. Good luck to your team against Cal St. Fullerton on Monday.

Congradulations! We hung with you guys a while but....

Your hitters, especially the middle of your lineup, are unreal. Hope we can get a win in this CWS but I have to believe LSU comes out of this bracket. You guys are better than UNC and I thought they were pretty damn good.

i'm sure if we had a few calls go against us and we'd lost we'd be boo hoo too.

most of the uva fans on this site have been classy and i take my hat off to y'all for coming back here after the loss. good luck the rest of the way, maybe we'll meet again.

edit: we should get a football series going with you guys. we did it with VT why not the hoos??

The Hoos were very aggressive at the plate. Jared Mitchell could learn by watching them.

i think ranaudo had his stuff, but had it taken away by the ump. the fastball at the knees is important to all pitchers but anthony is extra dependent on them.

The blown call in left field did cost you 1-2 bases (he still got a hit) but I can see why it was called. Our player blocked the view down the line so I'm sure he had to guess...and he assumed it was foul. It was the wrong call but understandable as the corner in Rosenblatt is almost in the stands.

I'm just not sure about the "several calls" or "every one of those questionable calls" comments. You make it sound like there were a ton of bad calls against you. I watched the entire game and can't figure out which calls you're referring to. I do know that the roaming strike zone seemed to hurt our starting pitcher more than yours but that's baseball.

I'm sure most LSU fans will be pulling for UVA against CSF. I know the ACC is great in baseball but I'm still surpised Virginia was only sixth this season. The team looks much better than the standings. I don't think they lost more than 2-3 games OOC all season. The players looked like they had "been there before" last night and played with a lot of confidence.

Also..I like the idea of playing more ACC teams in football.

what a weak-ass attempt at a congratulations. not earned?

learn to accept your losses especially when it was a great game by both with LSU's bats delivering in the clutch being the difference. about 3 great defensive plays didnt hurt either.

i guess whining should be expected from newbs.

timely hitting and the 3 run bomb. killer.

although every pitcher on our staff was used. good luck to LSU the rest of the way.
