Well guys the game has come and gone finally and what can i say?? Great come back by my boys was it wasn't enough. I don't think we worked on special teams all offseason.......... No excuse for some of those run backs. In the second half when you guys were up 30-10 Jefferson should have taken the bull by the horns and took over. That is something you will need him to do in the future. He threw some nice balls and there is no reason you guys shouldn't be spreading it out more You guys have tons of speed and it showed. Once we get our starters back i think we wil be ok. Gotta get the special teams settled down and figure out the triple option all in 2 weeks for G Tech. I wanna say thanks for letting me post here, we had a ball today and i'm tired. Zach Pianalto never drops passes and he dropped that last one. Great defense though. I would have loved to see the 4 wide shovel pass in the middle. Something a little sneaky. Yates looked good. We will need him to continue his accuracy. Never know guys we may see each other again in the bowl game. I know it would be disappointing for you guys but it would be a treat for us. If we can get guys cleared we still have a chance to have a 9 win season maybe. Congrats on the w and good luck with the season. We enjoyed the game and the time spent with you fans.
That was very nice of you because I think most fans our pretty hot right now... you have class. Ya'll played real tough and to be honest, I thought you desired to win. Very gutsy effort for sure.
Fear, you guys played well and we were out coached...This has to be a terrible loss for you guys considering you had the game in you hands and it slipped away. You have to be excited about the quarterbacking last night...and you guys sure have depth on defense. It was an exciting game, wasn't it although these kind of games are bad for business because most LSU fans are sick to their stomachs right now. A lot of questions for you guys were answered last night...a lot of ours remain unanswered. Good luck with your life...It looks like you'll go far in it...you have this...:tigereye:
Thanks for posting here and being a classy fan! It was a first game of the season, some slop, some good plays. NC played with a lot of heart and energy, you have every right to be proud of your team. They earned our respect down here on the bayou. If that was the second string D, I'd hate to see the first team. Your QB was great. Good luck with the rest of the season!
Thanks for posting and having more class than some of the LSU "fans" we have around here. From looking at the the game, I don't think UNC will have too many problems the rest of the season:thumb:
UNC had a horrible first half. Then LSU just didn't show up in the second half. That you have to put on the coaches. But, if you like football, a last second play to win is exciting. UNC will finish the season ranked, players or no players.
Great effort by your team, you should be proud. You were a dropped pass in the endzone away from posting one of the biggest upsets that we will see this college football season. I am not sure what the situation is with these players, but if you can get most of them back, you will be a solid team in the ACC.
i'll echo the above, and add "stick around". we need level headed fans around here, no matter what team they cheer for.
While nobody can say definitively...I suspect this would have been an easy win for you guys had you been at full strength. We gave up on the pass late in the game. We fumbled at inoppotune times...not that UNC didn't, of course. My hope is that these issues are resolved by your next big game and if that happens...I believe UNC has the ability to run the rest the table and end up in the NC discussion. Your offense was barely scavenged and just made our "bend don't break" defense look silly. That was what surprised me the most. TJ Yates seems to have turned a corner in his career. If your D can balance out that O, this team will surprise. Ok, I've rambled enough.
