    Mett- 24/35 298 1TD 0 INTs

Been a while and feels nice. 435 total offense to their 331 is also refreshing. If we can manage that kind of offensive play against Bama's defense things look bright for the rest of the year. Here's to an 11-2 season.

I know that this is not what most LSU fans want to hear right now, but that was an incredible college football game.
By far the best performance by LSU's offense, and I think a great game by the defense.
As a fan of college footbal in general, I don't remember enjoying a game so much from the first kick off to the last second.
    Kudo's to both teams.

You take those FGs instead of pulling out your brass balls and LSU wins this game...

I read here often but rarely post. I certainly don't talk trash. LSU played an incredible game. They physically kicked Bama butts. The breaks just did not go your way. I don't think anyone, team members or coaches should be criticized. I know they will be criticized, but I thought the coaches took some chances, all were reasonable ones, in an attempt to win. I don't see how your team could have given more or better effort.

In all honesty going for a fake FG on 4th and 12 when Bama is sitting back on us isn't reasonable.

It was two very poor decisions on the field goal situations in the first half. Someone already pointed out the problem with the fake. The decision to try the 54-yarder was a bad one, considering the kicker's season long was only 44 and he has been pretty inconsistent all season. It was 4th and 4; worth the gamble of going for the first, IMO. The onside-kick was a GREAT call; Bama was caught totally off-guard. If the ball doesn't take a funny hop, its first down Tigers. Nor was the decision to go for the 4th and 2 in the fourth quarter a bad one, for the same reason I pointed out earlier. A FG attempt would have been at the edge of the kicker's range, and he hasn't been all that reliable anyway. It was a poor play call, though.

Helluva ball game, all-in-all. Post more often, Don.

Great effort, great team play tonight, this happens sometimes, the most experience QB and offensive team was able to execute in the last 2 minutes.

Lets not make too many excuses. Games should never be determined by referee's calls. You make plays and score touchdowns instead of field goals and a call one way or the other has little significants
