I forget who the talk show hosts were but the one comment that stuck out was this..."If Michigan fires Lloyd Carr and replaces him with Les Miles they just hired Lloyd Carr to replace Lloyd Carr." His point was that Carr and Miles are both good coaches but not great coaches. He thought Les and Lloyd were one in the same. He thought Michigan should open up the coaching choices to more candidates vs just handing it to Miles because he is a "michigan guy".
