And the moral of this story is, don't run out into a busy race track it could cause your own death.

I never got out of my race car on the track until I knew for sure it was safe to. Although, I've had a few times I've wanted to get out and cuss someone, I waited to do it in the pits. Loved knowing I had that rollcage protecting me!

And ESPN is reporting the Ward family is going to pursue a civil suit against Stewart.

I'm not a lawyer, but I would think the chances of them winning a lawsuit would be somewhere between slim and none.

Considering drugs were in Ward's toxicology report, slim and none sounds about right.

They can try, but they will lose and lose big.

A.) Ward is under the influence enough to impair his judgment, making him do his best impersonation of a dog chasing after a mail truck.

B.) Ward himself got out of his car under his own volition, and decided to charge down in to the lower track.

    C.) He gets ran over.

Yeh have fun with that Ward family, it's tragic that your son lost his life... but his own dumbass stupidity is what killed him, not stewart.

    Bullshit to the infinity power.

I'm so glad that Tony Stewart and his slimeball legal team has been able to shift the blame to Ward being "stoned".

    1. Weed stays in your system sometimes up to 30 days.
    2. If he was stoned he wouldn't have jumped out of his car, he would have wrecked and said "dude, that's a bummer"
    3. The caution flag was up, Stewart sped up and was trying to teach him a lesson. He should be held accountable.

This whole weed thing is the biggest bunch of bullshit I have ever heard, and anyone who thinks Ward was stoned is either uneducated on pot a liar, or a dumbass.

One more thing if he was stoned he would have been driving around that track at 30mph jammin comfortably numb.
