Says the guy who's team just lost their so-called national title hopes... ur O couldn't get 17 on our D. Didn't you know, the Pope is a LSU fan.
Anyone who thinks our run defense is adequate after watching the first 2 games or even reading stat lines is fooling themselves and no one else. Neither of our opponents has had a highly regarded ground attack. And the D allowed 160 on the ground against UAB. Our talented corps of backs only managed 152 against their D. That is concerning and needs to be improved quite a bit immediately before we play a really good team. So far this year, its opposite of usual and the offense is making up for defensive deficiencies.
It's too early to panic or be overly excited about any of the phases in my opinion. I do like where we are on offense and defense at this point. We have so many new faces on D I was expecting some growing pains.
Our schedule sets up well to grow the defense before we head to Athens, but we better grow into this defense quickly. UGA can pound it and pass it. If our run defense and interior line penetration does not improve quickly, Gurley and Murray have the ability to make us look inept.
GRADES: OFFENSE: Pass: B+ Run: B- DEFENSE: Run: C Pass: C- Special Teams: A LSU always has more talent but Alabama always has the referees!
He's probably some kind of socially awkward autistic savant who's just desperate to make friends. Ya'll leave the poor guy alone.
LOL 28 - 0 at the start of the 2nd. At that time UAB had 10 yards. Yes, 10 yards. Then, we got VERY sloppy. UAB scored 17. Never scored again....... LOL Lets review. @ TCU, up by 2 scores, we fumble on our 5. TCU scores on a 5 yard FIELD.... The ONLY other points that half by TCU were a FG................. A single FG..... If anything, LSU's O held LSU back reaching the redzone on its first two drives getting only 6 points. You are a clown.
