I heard hydration should have started last Sunday. I also heard coaches asked players if they wanted IVs at halftime and the players said, nah, we’re good. How do players have the option?
The fact that an IV is even in the discussion is terrifying and absolutely not on the option. The locker room should have looked like a mash unit
Yes! Burrow showed laser-like accuracy under pressure; he also seems to be learning the art of misdirecting his eyes--checking off on a receiver then going back to him for the actual throw. The latter plays havoc with the D secondary. Oh, and he's fearless in the face of an inevitable hit as well.
IV is a sign that prep was inadequate and heat stress could kill ... Last straw after IV is cold water compresses and in some cases immersion when body temps soar to 105+ Fact: SUPER-HYDRATION (Pedialite) is needed to stay ahead of the color curve listed below 1. If urine is clear white you’re blood is fully hydrated but not ready for football stresses YOU NEED SUPERHYDRATION 2. If urine is yellow blood is one quart water below hydration level 3. If urine is orange blood is two quarts water below hydration level The Dee Clowns (Chiasson, etc) we’re running around pre-game showing out and getting dehydrated... Hell the one tv shot of Chiasson showed him going to UT’s table to steal their Pedialite or whatever they’re drinking ... Less BS and a more serious approach to games is needed ... Oeaux gotta get a grip on this ... WATCH THE INVESTIGATION ON THIS!!!
IT was so bad even my wife saw and was complaining about it. Side note, Chaisson; is the name pronounced "CHase on" or "shasson" wife was complaining about that too.
Even at the middle school where I teach, the football players run around daily with water bottles because the coaches preach hydration. For that matter, the drill team directors my daughters have/had insist on hydration because, yes, kicking and dancing in 100 degree heat is taxing, too.
