Guice looks like a big time back. He is clearly number two behind Fournette. He has the vision, speed, power, and cut back ability to be special. It was great seeing his come out party. I also agree it was great seeing how much Brossette cared. Of course he knew he now won't see the field for a while. Fournette is all class and a great leader. This kid is a no risk player when he comes out.
Brossette will see the ball again, just not with our backs against the goal line. It's the quality of back in front of him that limits his carries. But he is young, I would not have been surprised if they had redshirted him.
Probably would have been better. I agree, the depth ahead of him will make it difficult for him to see the field much. I'm pulling for him after his display, he really wants it.
And we kept putting the nickel back against him. He should have been face-to-face with White or Tolliver every time he jogged to the line. Poor coaching decision.
