The line gave up sacks, we all saw it. Mettenberger has been sacked in almost every game. Four last week.
LSU made Prescott and Russell look like Tebow. You never see a LSU player drive an opponent backwards. THe worst tackling team Ive seen here in a long time. I get what youre saying about racking up yards on the road in the SEC. However the majority of runs were shut down outside of about 5 or 6 runs. Mett, Landry, and OBJ were a big reason for a lot of those yards. Miss St doesnt have the DBs to stay with them.
Our line opened up many more holes than that as the game wore on. In the second half they were tremendous in their run blocking. Blue and Hilliard were both guilty on one of the sacks as they both missed on the blitz pickup. The oline did get mangled on some pass blocking plays though, Jones for MSU is going to be a terror!
