I've seen plenty freshman quarterbacks come in and look better than this kid looked. Talk about deer in the head lights.

 

True freshman first start, I wouldnt read too much into it.

 

Perhaps but CCCs rep is honing what he's given and less of the square peg round hole crowd.

Why not Hayden Rettig or Rivers? I know we haven't seen much from any one of them but could they really be that bad? I think Rettig or maybe the new up and coming freshman make a push. Anthony Jennings is horrible but lets face it he stares down his receivers and that is something you learn not to do early in your career. He's had a whole season behind Mettenberger and he's not where we need him to be. Plus he had a whole month to prepare and the play calling on the offensive side was rather vanilla. Could it be that they have no faith in him?
