Reasoning with you is like reasoning with a 3 yr old. You're only going to see what you want to see, even though what I said has nothing to do with what you posted. Nobody, least of all Anthony Jennings, cares one way or the other about what you think. You continue to have an overinflated view of yourself and of how a true freshman starting his first game should play and nothing anyone says is going to change that. As such, I see no further need of continuing this with you. Have a nice day.

You may as well copy and paste this over and over to several different posters. If you're positive, and provide rational, realistic expectations, then by definition you don't want to win, you never criticize, you only support blindly, and you think CLM and all of the players are perfect, without any imperfections at all. Welcome to being a sunshine pumper. That's all we do is pump sunshine and support blindly.

Poor guys. Negatigers got it bad too. I can't give honest criticism one without pumpers flipping the fuck out.

Less than 100 yards passing is not encouraging. Jennings has plenty of time to turn it around, I'm thrilled he has cameron to help, his struggles aren't unreasonable, he didn't make a lot of awful decisions, but the fact remains that his performance underwhelmed, reminiscent of miles ball before metts incredible season this year.

Then there is the insanity of saying miles is doing better than Saban, striking from the record NC data as if it isn't that important. Or saying bama is just lucky, completely ignoring the planet alignments that happened in lsu's two modern NCs. Or saying out one side of your mouth that Saban is an idiot for losing two games this year and praising miles despite losing three. The warped logic doesn't end there, and it's more infuriating to know that these folks were all in love with Saban when he was here and would still be if he had never left. It's like arguing with a fucking woman, throw logic out the gd window.

Now back to our regular programming.... I think some of you are over thinking JJ's performance... For the coaches to even think they had to put the game in his hands would mean they didn't like the way the game plan was going... And the game for the most part was progressing just fine for Miles.

What I saw (and probably most fans) was an Iowa team that had been a little lucky just getting to 8-4 against a team that had slightly under achieved finishing 9-3. We had enough talent on defense to keep us in games but our offense had been rather woeful all year and LSU is not the team to play if your offense sucks.
BTW... Loston reminded us fans of Bob Sanders, not so much the way he hit, but his ability to always know where to be. It's a shame he's been so injury plagued... He is a gift to the game. So... Good win for you guys ... Ugly game in a way... On to next year!!!

Well, you guys are a scratch and claw team. Thought you did a good job to keep it close. Good move to change QBs, btw. May as well, and see if it changed the outcome. Congrats to your team on a good season, and appreciate your objective view on our team. You have always been a classy poster.

Loston has played well, an yes injuries have kept him from being at his best. Some see him as a 6-7 round pick in this years draft, some say he'll never get drafted. I don't see him being around for the 6th, I see him closer to the 4th or 5th round. Will start looking closer as the draft gets here.

LOL, I hear you, bro. Your criticisms are usually reasonable, and well founded. I don't disagree personally with what you are stating about Jennings, but I do think the gravity of it is a bit overstated. I mean it was one game and to say his "struggles aren't unreasonable" after one game sounds like its been going on for 10 or something. What many are trying to defend is not the fact that he had issues, but simply to give him a chance to come around and not overreact. I get the concern that this performance/game plan maybe being a sign of things to come, but that's typical negative speculation that we all do in our lives. I see it everyday when a parent comes in worried w/one day of fever/illness possibly being something serious, like leukemia. It's where our minds go when we experience something that is out of expectation or comfort zone. We speculate the worst. Human nature. For me, if that pattern does develop, then I will certainly voice those concerns.

As far as the coaching comparisons, I personally recognize and admit CLMs flaws. But his overall success over a long window of time cannot be denied, and I tend to focus on that, and the fact that he runs what seems to be a clean, classy program. I readily admit that he sucks at making in-game corrective changes, coaching changes take too long to happen, he's a poor clock manager, and has his hand in the game plan a bit too much for my liking sometimes. As far as Saban, dude's won 3 NCs at Bama, and 1 here. No denying he's the best in the game, regardless of the last 2 games of the season. Some just like seeing him and Bama fail so much that they cling on to stuff like that, and the UAB references to try to bring his phenomenal end results down a bit. I don't hate him and can respect what he's done. I don't feel the need personally to constantly compare the two really.

The flip happens to me when I try to interject what I think are reasonable, rational considerations to the cliff jumping comments I read. In the end, we are all passionate about our Tigers. We are fortunate for their success overall, that I know to be true.

How good is Jennings, somewhere between the Ark and the Bowl game. He'll have the off season and the Spring to find out how much Cam can make him that better player.

Meant to say Jennings struggles are to be expected of a true freshman; the struggles he's having shouldn't be overblown. But unlike some outstanding freshmen, he looked like a freshman. Not the end of the world, but nothing exceptional at this point either. Preciate ya.

Well said lsu-i-like. I did not expect a lights out performance from him. I am happy with Jennings and the fact that he has a lot of development in front of him with Cam in his corner. The problem we have on this board is a few get thrown into a blind fit of rage if you say anything negative about the coaching or players. We are all here because we are LSU fans. If somebody wants to post something about things they don't like, it is their right to do so. If you want to post stuff that makes you feel good then knock yourself out. No where did we sign up for a website that said we could only be positive in our posts. You folks need to calm down and stop being so irrational when it comes to other's opinions. I come here to read many different opinions. Some of which change my stand point, some of which strengthen my position. This is a forum, not a cheer leading camp.
