I'll just leave it at that. If you are that deficient at reading comprehension, what good would writing more do anyway?

Both looked pretty good passing against our D. I'd say WKU's offense was more consistent.

Remember back in the not too distant pass when a passing team ran about 10 different plays and about 10 different routes? These new fangled passing games are incredibly complicated, sophisticated and hard to defend. Used to be that when a team like WKU played a major power they would get completely stopped and stomped, but times and offenses have changed so much. I have to think their coach will be snapped up by someone soon, likely a Big Eight or ACC school I think.

Their QB had tremendous poise and is very accurate most of the time, he'll get a good look see by an NFL team. Our DB's are very good in man coverage but we simply blow way too many zone opportunities. Jefferson has really had problems.

Did you factor in the playing conditions?

That's been the main problem. Chavis ran more man to man while Steele is coaching primarily zone coverage. The DB's haven't adapted to the new system. Just like we moaned about Grimes and the play of the O line last year this year it's the D backs. It's took a full season for the O line to learn Grimes system but now they are lights out. If Steele can do the same they should be much better and more cohesive next season. But I want a title this season.
