I agree. Besides Prescott, the kid from WK is the best QB we will have faced all year. And if we've made bad QBs look good (think Syracuse 5th string true freshman walk on), then will we make a good QB look great? Obviously WK doesn't have the talent nor depth that we do, but we shouldn't be looking ahead to Nov. 7th. Just ask Ole Piss what happens when you don't respect your opponent.

Great point...LSU might be able to neutralize him because WKU doesn't have the offensive line Florida has. You can turn a bad QB into a decent QB with pass protection. Florida has athletes, they are well recruited and they have big boys in the trenches that WKU may not have, so maybe LSU does better against WKU, but their QB is definitely better than Treon Harris.

I think we blow these turds out. Their D is one of the worst in the nation. A wagon 8 yards a run we will be on the field the entire time.

But we give up big plays and they are a big play offense. We cannot take these guy slightly.

Exactly! I see this team much like Syracuse but with a better passing game. The Tigers better not try to sleep walk through this one.

Their D is almost dead last in The NCAA.

The way we run.... They have no chance.

Eastern Michigan's was dead last. They were within 1 score in the 4th.

No but it's another example of LSU playing down to the opposition and not putting games like that out of reach early.

And in the second half if LSU had come out and run the offense like they did in the second quarter the outcome would never have been in question.

Instead they allowed Florida to seize the momentum

Agree, but part of that playing down, I've come to realize, is playing 2nd and 3rd string early and often. It's not like our starters are playing a majority of the game like they did against FLA. If the same personnel that played against FLA plays the same amount of time against Syracuse, EMU, then you would see the blowouts many hope for and expect.
