    FB - A
Melvin Jones played spectacularly at FB.

    Coaching - C-
It took an injury for Jones to get on the field. I mean, what are the coaches seeing in practice?

This is what senior quarterbacks deliver. You must be patient with rookie quarterbacks in a league like the SEC. They are learning on-the-job and still competing for the start.

Neighbors has been very effective this year. You can see it in the games.

And it happens that way sometimes. In 2003, Shyrone Carey was injured mid-season, or we'd have not seen the emergence of Justin Vincent and Alley Broussard.

Hell it happened with Neighbors. Notice after the fumble against Alabama Copeland didn't see much of the field for the rest of the season, Neighbors did.

I think its funny people think LF doesn't have vision or great speed.

The only difference from Wisconsin to UF was that the game is "starting" to slow down for him and the Oline wasn't complete shit.

Once he learns more about where his cut backs will be and what his proper lanes are, everyone will see.

There was a play in the UF game where LF broke for about a 15 yard run. At the 1st down marker, there was a UF DB ready to make a tackle. LF simply put a nice stutter step on him and got another easy 5 yards. The UF DB had the superior angle and approaching speed.

I think people expect some Barry sanders type shit when they think of vision.

People have to understand LF is 230 pounds. To pull some of these moves, most of which it seems like people are not seeing, for his size is simply amazing.

At his current improvement pace, he will be Gurley like by next year.

I did notice that in the interview with LF after the UF game he mentioned his nerves. That is a key part too. Once he starts to become more confident in his abilities, it will only help.

In high school, he could just hit the hole, get to the second level and bowl over the smaller DB's.

College, he's learning, it's more to it, so much more. He's getting there, not fully, but still learning. Each game he will get better and better.

I was impressed with how he ran last game. And he will likely prove me wrong and I damn well hope so. But I just don't see where the hype came from yet.
