I just watched it. I can't quote it. I'm not sure what he said. I think I need to go outside and eat some grass.
This is the best "grade" / stat of the night for me: @LSUBillMartin: Wins over Florida since 2005 (Miles first year): 1. Les Miles - 5 2. Nick Saban - 3 Richt - 3 4. Spurrier - 2
QB: B- I think the gameplan limited Mettenberger's effectiveness. Still made some good throws and managed the game well. RB: A Against a legit defense, our running game was legit. WR: B Landry's catch/strip was awesome. TE/FB: B I'll go with B, but FB was a major contributing factor to the run game. OL: A- Good game against a nationally respected D, but still struggled with short yardage. DL: B Best game all year, D is coming into its own, inexperienced QB was what the Chief needed. Quite a few no-pressure plays, still. LB: B- Best game all year, still having trouble wrapping up. DB: B- Best game all year, DL success helps DBs, which helps DL. Inexperienced QB was what the Chief needed. Still had guys running open. Special Teams: B Comme ci, comme ça. Field goal kicker looks pretty consistent, ST defense pretty good. Coaching: B+ Pretty impressed with this win. Chief took advantage of an inexperienced QB. Offense switched gears successfully and ran against a highly touted defense. I expected a struggle. Fans: C+ Mostly seemed like a non-factor. It was pretty warm yesterday and I guess many didn't come prepared. Seems like we are making excuses for the fans these days.
