Turner or Porter may have had an unsportsmanlike penalty, I dont remember. But it was Rasco who ripped off the helmel. As mentioned, on the UF QB on a short yardage play that kept the drive alive. I was ready to have him sat but he sure stepped up and redeemed himself.

    I stand corrected.

I will say this, I knew it was going to be one of those games when I noticed the offense line for LSU jawing with the defensive lineman from Florida early in the game. One of those guys Turner or Porter was grabbing his junk and shaking it at the Florida defense. It was only a matter of time before things to start getting chippy.

44 for Florida defense looked like he was getting pretty pissed throughout the game. I think he was the reason for alot of the squabbling late.

Ok, so we're good with my A- grade of the O-line?

I think it was #55 Darious Cummings. He just couldn't stop yapping. And he had nothing to show for it. He is the kid who said no way LSU is going to put up the points and yards they have been putting up on other teams. While he was correct on his prediction, he also didn't see the ass whooping his entire front 7 would take from the LSU O-line and fullbacks.

Again, if Zach Mettenberger was on his game, LSU potentially could have scored 5 TDs on their first 5 possessions of the game (missed a wide open Dural inside the 20, missed a wide open Dillon for an easy TD, fumbled the ball on a great bubble screen setup inside the 25). We were that dominant on the offensive line. LSU would have ended up punting 1 time all day.

Yes, after watching some of the highlights of the game on tv, it was the best if not one of the best games of the season for the o-line.

From the start of the season, I thought the weak link on the OL was gonna be at OC, Porter, he has improved each game. Hope to see more improvement this week.
