    QB: C-
This was not Zach Mettenberger's day. He left at a minimum 13 points, and more likely 21 on the field today. A wide open TE streaking down the seam and doesn't see him. We ended up punting. Fumbled a ball for no reason on what looked like a huge bubble screen that could have gone the distance. Then the wide open Boone over the middle on the first drive that was way overthrown. Thank goodness the defense showed up today. Felt good to type that.

    RB: B+
Solid day overall. 28 carries for 156 yards.

    WR: B-
Not the standout day we are accustomed to, and had a drop by Landry. You can probably call it a draw between the CBs of Florida and the WRs of LSU.

    TE/FB: B
More dominating blocking by the fullbacks (2) and scored a TD. Dillon Gordon missed out on an opportunity for a big play TD when Mettenberger failed to see him.

    OL: A-
Most dominating game of the season, based on the fact we were playing the best defense we faced so far. If QB play was up to par today, we would have put up 31-35 points.

    DL: A-
Not only was the line active all game long, it was disruptive for a majority of the time. The young QB and the Florida running game never got going offensively. The TACKLE FOR LOSS stat is back at LSU!

    LB: B-
Best day by far for Barrow in all 3 phases of run support, pass rush and coverage. Welter made a key 3rd down stop in coverage as well.

    DB: A-
What a turnaround for this unit. We knew we had the talent based on the recruitment of these kids, but it finally showed up today. A couple of big sacks by Eugene was key in stopping drives. Still not sure what role Craig Loston is playing out there.

    Special Teams: C
Our punt game is definitely like a box of chocolates.

    Coaching: B+
I thought we were well prepared on both sides of the ball. QB play was lacking, which should not count towards what some could perceive as a bad day of play calling. We had 31+ points in our back pocket and we squandered opportunity after opportunity. We got burnt on a fake punt that should have never been successful.

Offense struggled against that legitimate Florida defense. LSU defense rose up to the challenge.

    The QB did.

    Let's make that perfectly clear.

Running game and O-line play was dominant.

I think the coaches saw the fake coming, but couldn't get the D to understand. Timeout would have been good, but then how many of Coach's detractors would be bitching about clock management?

I'm happy with this win, LSU played dominate D all game and the O put enough points up to win. We didn't need anything special to win and controlled the game. Good W for us.

Mett left points on that field, at we score 31 if he plays well.

Tackling left a little to be desired and Zach seemed to regress a little with some of his throws but we still got the win...

Zach,ODB and Landry were bound to have a bad game this season. I hope this is it. If it is and they get back up to speed. We are gonna rock the rest of the season.

I think his dependency on OBJ and Landry needs to change. There are other capable receivers on this team, and at times Mett just stares down either Landry or Odell.

it was a bad game actually, they came off the playcalling to run the ball today.
