The difference is daylight and dark and given what we've seen so far I'll give the guy an A. That said, I'm interested to see what happens when someone shuts us out in the first half. How well does he make adjustments at half time? Based upon what I've seen so far I am inclined to think that he will be very good at making adjustments but it is an aspect we haven't seen thus far. (thankfully)
With Cameron's nfl experience. I don't think he would have to wait till halftime to make adjustments. That wouldn't fly in the pros. I'd be willing to bet, if opposing defenses were shutting down our offense. He would start callin in plays till he found something that worked. Come Saturday we should get a good idea of what he's accomplished.
point well taken and very true.....thru 3 games. I'm talking a little further down the line when we start playing better defenses. Gyver does make a good point that Cam doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to wait to make adjustments.
Thats right, you don't last long in the NFL if you wait till half for adjustments. This is why you see OC mainly on the sidelines with photo's during a game, showing in game action/formations. Too add, you have seen Mett coming to the sidelines on the headset talking to Cam in the pressbox.
Our first true test on D will be Florida. And luckily we play them at home. LSU should continue to average 40 ppg against Auburn, Georgia and Mississippi State. I would be surprised if we did not. LSU will be headed into the Alabama game either 9-0 or 8-1. So essentially the winner of that game will win the West. Again.
This is exactly how I see it. It is key that we at least split the GA/FL games. A close loss to one of those would be forgotten if we win out from there.
I may live in New York now, but just moved here from Florida and despise everything Gator. After watching them against Miami, their D is not what it was last year. Miami is not good on offense, but receivers were open all day long with some drops and with the QB trying to do too much with his legs. I am not as worried about UF as I am with getting into a shootout with GA and or Ole Miss.
