    A++++++

    Let me count the pluses. Yep, there are 6. Wanted to make sure I didn't give him 7 by accident. Lord knows he doesn't deserve that.

    Agree. Bigger improvement than when Chief took over the defense.

    I think he'll need a full season under his belt before we give him a fair grade. I mean, sure we all want to give him an A but let's see how the offense handles UGA, Bama, and the other bigger opponents. The sample size is too small now

    I loved what I saw against a very good TCU defense.

    And there was complete and utter domination against 2 cupcakes. No inconsistent play.

    So the smallish sample size is still speaking to us loud and clear.

    Yes. It was refreshing to see us dominate the 2 cupcakes, when in the recent past, we have struggled in those games. Definitely a step in the right direction. Mett looks worlds apart from last year.

    He's doing Ok I guess. An to think, I thought he was gonna run everything just like last year. Who would have thought? I'd like to see a little more before giving a grade........;)

    We still settled for too many field goals against TCU in the 1st half, so it wasn't perfect. Yes the blowouts are nice but don't be fooled, they won't mean much in a few weeks.

    We dominated teams in the beginning of 2006 with JaMarcus Russell even worse than this year or in 2011, yet in our first test of the year, we lost 3-7 against Auburn. Only 3 points (!). And we only scored 10 points in our other loss against Florida that year. My point is anything can happen and it often doesn't correlate to how the beginning of the season goes.

    Then again, we dominated teams in 2007 and our offense stayed dominant all year. Then we ran our OC out not even a couple years later. It's hard to say.
