They went on sale at 10am, but didn't log on until 11:30am or so. Seats are in the nosebleeds, but at least I got tickets. $227 for 2 tix after the convenience charge and everything. Anyone else get theirs?
Should have gotten yourself some Orange Bowl Tickets, for the NC when LSU is back there this year. Then you could have kicked it with me.:thumb:
I promise you, if LSU makes it to the NC again this year...I'll be there.....AGAIN.:crystal: I may make a buck or two from Florida, Auburn or Georgia fans since one of them will certainly end up in the Sugar Bowl...but if LSU does end up in the Sugar Bowl...I'll be there, whiskey in hand, in section 631, playboy. Blee dat.
Why did you get sugar bowl tickets? Are you assuming that thats where LSU will make it, or are you just going because you want to go to the sugar bowl? Just curious. Ticket reserves is a good route. You can get a pass that covers all 4 BCS bowls, and which ever one your team makes it to, thats the one you get. They are only about $75 bucks a piece right now. Championship reserves are going for around $120 a piece. I'll be lucky enough again this year to get student tickets for whatever bowl we make it to.
I go to the Sugar Bowl every year. It's fun. If something pops up and I can't go, I plan on selling them for a profit. I've been to the past several Sugar Bowls and it's always a good time.
Don't forget...the Orange Bowl is one game and the BCS in THE GAME! Sadly they tore down the Orange Bowl this past year and games are now being played at Dolphin Stadium -way out of the way right off the FL Turnpike-. The only attraction in the area is the Seminole Hard Rock Casino.
