He will be back, I'm sure he has already created another identity and will be back in the fight in no time.

They have two more games to get this straight. This is why we've saw a number of players this past game. Think of this, Robinson has made just a few practice sessions before last game, but it didn't take long for him to see action. He's gonna push someone. Two more games and watch the depth chart change. If a WR is making the block on the edge, the covering CB comes into play here also. There is more than enough blame to go around. One thing, Chief likes SPEED........just make the plays boys.

Wait, I thought you were a Notre Dame fan. At any rate, I'm sure Chavis has noticed the same thing on film and will use it to teach the young guys where to be. After that, it's up to them to execute. But there's really no excuse for players like Loston taking bad angles and being out of position, given his time playing in this defense and his game experience.

We just do not have the big DE's this year. Our largest DE is under 260 pounds. Unless the LB's step up big time, this D is going to get killed on the edges by SEC talent. As has become evident tonight, the teams we have faced so far are not very good.

Guess we need to complain about something, the offense is starting to get on track.

Then, I suppose it's fun to bitch about the defense for a change. I think we all knew that we'd have some growing pains. Even so, we're not exactly getting abused--yet.

We have been very successful in the last two years with lighter but faster DE's.

Well, technically, we haven't played anyone with the "ability" to abuse us. We will see what happens when we get to Athens. I'm not ready to anoint uga the best O in the land award yet because I'm not convinced that making usce look that bad on D is a daunting task.

I predict (hope) that by that time we have the wrinkles ironed out and are able to at least get a handful of stops and let the O do the rest.

Not this light. Also, we rotated in Edwards and Aglahore (forgive spelling) much larger DE's. We wore down offenses by rotating out nine people on the DLine. We have not played a quality team yet. I am afraid we will not be able to stop a good O-line and power back, unless we start using the freshman recruits allot more. Just wish we had more size at the DL position.
