Turn out the lights, the party's over. Definitely time for a change. After getting blown out today the way we did, this has to be it for Les. Dead man walking. That said, I've always supported him, but the results don't lie -- especially since 1/9/12. I won't rehash it all here. We know the drill, unfortunately. I think Alleva's silence through this is very telling. For all we know, the buyout is ready to go, and the next coach is lined up. I just hope beyond hope that we get someone in here who can be successful with these top recruiting classes. I'm sad...
Three ugly losses from a #2 position jumps the shark for me. This is new. At this point if he stays the internal conflict within the LSU family will be more damaging than the multi year upheaval of a coaching change.
Crazy. We all know that at #2, LSU seemed like a paper tiger. But to go from 7-0 to this? I don't get it. What the heck happened?
I have to say I've been a Les supporter and still firmly believe he's a good man, but it's time for him to go. I believe what my eyes are telling me......The game has passed him by, his teams are consistently under prepared, under perform and his play calling is as predictable as the sun will rise.....adios CLM.
I am truly sad right now. When the Tigers lose, I feel like I lose. Sad to see a good man like Les not be able to get out of his own way and realize the greatness that could come from the talent he consistently brings to LSU. This is the lowest I've been as an LSU fan outside of 1/9/12. Seriously, I know it is probably a little over dramatic, but my heart is broken right now.
