Department of Defense? More likely DOC--Department of Corrections. They both wear uniforms but only one wears orange
I agree with that 100% and I think everyone else does too. No one wants change just for the hell of it. Most think we should be doing better and are willing to take a chance to do better. Sometimes coaches get too comfortable and a change is good for both the program and the coach. I think that's where LSU and Miles are. Miles needs a shock to his ego to force a change in his offensive philosophy and it's clear nothing short of being fired will do it. LSU needs a change in coaches to have any chance at impoving what we see on the field. LSU was great for Miles and Miles was great for LSU, but staying together holds both back from reaching their potential. Both have the ability to be better. No hard feelings, in fact he'll always have a place in my heart but the time for change is now.
Do not wear orange to work - but work with a lot of orange. Longhorn orange - downtown Houston. Energy - not defense.
Exploration, production?? I ask because I was born & raised in SW La and my Dad and brother spent their careers in the oil industry. A summer of rough necking was enough me.
I'm absolutely aligned with all of that EXCEPT - while no one would say they want change for the hell of if, some (not you) can rationalize themselves into taking a chance on Curly again just to get rid of Miles. I'm not there. If Alleva can line up a Jimbo Fisher type of hire he should do it ASAP - if not he should wait until the fish is worth the price of the bait. And then hook it.
