That's the text book definition of scared. It's the Miles philosophy in a nut shell, playing not to lose. Yes Miles was a good coach that gave us some good times, but it has become very evident that he has hit his ceiling. Of course changing coaches is a gamble and you could end up with worse, but that's no reason not to try and achieve better. If you're waiting until it's guaranteed that the guy you hire will be better, that day will never come, because NOTHING is guaranteed. Not calling you out or anything, but that post is so Miles like in philosophy that it makes me think you might BE Miles.
what do you mean, we? I wasnt talking for you. I was telling you who did it. Was already reported by dellenger and rabalais via some chat they had.
Lmao you just can't coach that type of venom and jealousy, good to see your weakness right out the gate....whoever/whatever you are.
Nothing is guaranteed, really, how original. Didn't say guaranteed, I said reasonable expectation. By the way, that also means its not guaranteed things will get worse under Miles. Cuts both ways. I love how I keep reading here that I'm afraid of change - tells me so much about the people involved in the conversation. They only hear and see what they want to see. I manage a 6 person continuous process improvement team. Change is literally my life. I run Kaizens (Google it) for a living The only fear I thing I'm afraid of is listening to 5 years of whining on this site. What I'm talking about is something we wouldn't even know happened. This is all on Alleva. If he can line up someone that he reasonably expects will be better than Miles he should pull the trigger - quickly after the season. But if his top 10 people are taken or turn him down he shouldn't do something he's not confident about just to please the munchkins. Oops I meant to say minions. And to be clear calling me Miles isn't calling me out. While I don't agree with everything he does, and I agree the offense has been a continuous source of frustration for years, there is much of the man to be admired. And if you can't see that then you're allowing yourself to be blinded by emotions. Hopefully, the people making this decision have better thought processes.
You obviously haven't been reading, I've said hundreds of times that I like Miles and that he does many many things at an extremely high level No, you didn't say the actual word guarantee, you're correct there. If you're scared just say you're scared, there's nothing wrong with being scared.......Les.
Well stated. Allow me to restate for clarity. I don't want to change just so we can say we did something. Like when there is a mass shooting and people want to pass a new law so they can pretend they've done something. Said differently - I don't want to waste the opportunity that change provides us. I think saying we will make a change and if it doesn't work we can just do it all again is akin to saying we're planning on gambling instead of saying we're planning on achieving. Wasting the opportunity of the moment would make all of this worse. I'm not afraid of change, change is how I make my living. Thanks for calling me Les. Prooud that I've always had a soft spot for kids with cancer
I saw you the other day. I'm the guy who told you I didn't have any cash and asked if you took credit cards? Works every time. Since most panhandlers somehow can afford a smart phone how long before you guys wise up and get one of those Square card readers that snap into your phones?
Well played, Sir. Don't worry, even though you passed me by I was still able to make the BMW payment. Those square card readers put us on the grid and we have to pay taxes.
