Crowtons offense sucked the entire game. He has yet to develop a QB and his offense can't line up and snap the ball without a time out or a penalty 11 games into the season. Ole miss is close but not as talented as LSU on offense yet at least their offense has some rhyme and reason. LSU's offense looks helter skelter at best. I haven't been in the Crowton needs to go crowd but I'm definitely leaning that way now. Absolutely no excuse for the offense to be so horrible this late in the season. Miles made some bad calls but this one is on Crowton IMO.
What wasn't working was the quarterbacking. A pick six. A sack when we couldn't afford one. The offense was horrible the whole game long.
I don't undestand the last few play calls. I just don't get it. LSU gave up a win tonight and that is all there is to it.
Regardless of the play call once we were at the 30, JJ has to have some awareness of what's going on. The replay showed decent pass protection and JJ backed up right into the Ole Miss defender. At that point, step up in the pocket and throw the damn ball away! :geauxtige
I'm sorry, but anytime you go on the road in the SEC against a tough team and you come from behind to win...It's a great win. The players made alot of mistakes but they came through when the game was on the line. The coaches, however, didn't.
Blaming this cluster **** on the players is complete bull****. This was on Crowton and Miles. The play calling sucked all night but once we were in FG range....you run the ****ing ball *******! Fire his ass now!
That is the same bury your head in the sand attitude that has gotten LSU football in this situation. It was not a good win, all but maybe 2 of their wins this year were not good wins.... it's horrible watching this... the entertainment value alone is close to 0. If this were 1 game fluke then I would agree with you... it's a mess as it stands now.
disagree red, that play should have never been called. Crowton's fault for a pathetic play call, Miles fault for not over riding it. You know Jefferson takes sacks way too much. RUN THE BALL, KICK THE FG, WIN THE GAME. I have always been a Miles supporter, but he and Crowton lost this game. I wouldn't be able to face my team if i had been part of the worst coaching decision of the season, and maybe since Miles has been here.
I don't know why everyone is so upset now... it's been the same way for two years... been telling you guys since the beginning of the year. It was obvious this was and is not going to work.
