I'm tired of hearing this Georgia bs. Georgia isn't a better team because they will be watching on tv just like you and me. What does an ex-Big Ten QB know about the SEC and football anyway. What makes him an expert? Is it the same thing that makes actors or famous people an expert for their causes?
Thats one of the main reason I wanted to play them because media is on their bandwagon saying LSU doesnt want to/scared to play them and etc.
Sorry, I forgot to put my sarcasm asterisk in front of my post... But thats where I was going with it.
I can't believe im saying this....but I agree with Herpie. (that was very painfull) This year UGA is last year's LSU. They started off the season struggling, then play lights out at the end. At the end of the year last season, NO ONE was playing better ball than LSU. LSU would've beaten ANYBODY in the Sugar Bowl, even the champs UF. I don't know if UGA can beat anybody, but they are playing as well as anyone right now. And the way LSU has been playing lately, Im glad we're not playing UGA either.
Herbie messed up...Georgia is not gonna win the SEC...They shouldn't be in the discussion for the NCG...When Musberger mentioned Oklahoma there was some awkward silence by Herbie.
LSU and Georgia will not play this year... So it is pretty much a mute point. But Georgia is the first SEC team lined up for a BCS slot. There is nothing I want to see more than LSU slap the Vols around in the SECCG. I'm going to wear purple and gold around Atlanta as much as possible this coming week.:geaux:
especially herbie. he only jumped on the lsu bandwagon when his reputation demanded it. after the loss last to arky, i'm surprised he didn't start calling us overrated or whatever other term he could come up with to down us. did you hear him during the kansas/mizzou game. he was all excited and energetic calling that game. i can't help but wonder if at least a little of that was because LSU lost. i think he's a good analyst overall, but he definitely has bias for USCw and against LSU. 2 cents, that's all.
