On the recruiting front... I got told by someone back home that they were fairly sure Jai Eugene would be an LSU Tiger... I don't know what this guy knows about anything, but he is a student at Dest, so I guess any news is good news
I heard from a guy that went to Destrehan that Jai talks to Ed Reed almost everyday and was very interested in going to Miami and has been a fan of the U all his life.

No, I'm being serious (Reed went to Destrehan too), if it wasn't for the fact that Jai had a kid then he'd be going to Miami I bet.
Hey, that landed LSU Mr. Kevin Faulk, because "he wanted to be closer to his kidS." Seriously...sometimes these things help.
I'm just hoping he is the kind of dad that does want to stay cloer, instead of wanting to get farhter away so he doesn't have to deal with raising him. In my volunteer work I've found much more of the later when kids have kids.
Eugene has been a lock for sometime, will announce a day or so before signing day or the actual day. Eugene isn't going anywhere for specific reasons!
